Today's Politics is Now Just Another WordPress Blog

A post or two back I wrote about my experiance blogging on Today's Politics By Freedomlover. In that post I related how I was considering switching to Word Press! Well Ive done it!

Today's Politics By Freedomlover is now just "Another Word Press Blog!! I'm going to continue maintaining and posting on this site and then transferring them to Word Press.

Can't say what the future holds but I feel this is a new beginning, and I'm excited about it. To those who follow my blog along with the good folks at CBC or Conservative Blogs Central. I'll be working on blog rolling you at the new site. If you would please blogroll my new address on your blog that would be greatly appreciated.

Miss George Bush Yet Darn Straight I do



I got this idea from The Jimmy Z Show radio blog the other day. He had a picture of George bush waving with the caption "Do ya miss me yet?"


My immediate reaction was darn straight I do. Now I know that it has become quite fashionable-and in Republican circles almost mandatory- to bash Bush. But George Bush was a good President. On Sept 11,2001 he faced the terrorists head on and at the twin towers the next day he showed grit and determination in the face of the enemy when he proclaimed "I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon".


I watched that live on television and at that moment I could not have been prouder to be an American and to have George Bush as president. I know his presidency had flaws. He could have done more to stand up to excessive spending by congress. He could have put more pressure on the republicans in congress to get behind, and pass, his Social Security reforms. But these things pale in comparison to the single greatest responsibility this president had. The protection of the American people.


Resolute and determined that is the quality in Bush I most admire. Consider these words from the speech he delivered to Congress shortly after this tragedy that changed the course of this nations history forever. "We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail"


That is true leadership. He set his mind to carry forth the task of fighting the terrorists and never looked back. Even in the face of mounting criticism and opposition from the Democrats and even some in his own party George Bush never tired, never faltered, and never failed in his quest to keep this country safe. I think he succeeded because during his entire time in office we were never attacked. And don't think the terrorists didn't try.


Fast forward to our present time. We have the news chock full of the arrest of some suspected terrorist who were hell bent to celebrate Sept 11 by killing as many Americans as they could. Why? because they perceived that America, under Barack Obama, had gone soft and irresolute in the fight against their monstrous brand of evil. Bush said this on Sept.7,2003 "We have learned that terrorist attacks are not caused by the use of strength,they are invited by a perception of weakness.


We are under the greatest threat of a terror strike perhaps unequaled since Sept 11. For the last few years comments such as "The war is lost" and likening our soldiers to stormtroopers created a perception of weakness in the eyes of our enemies. Since Bush has left office all the tyrants in the world-as well as all our enemies-have been emboldened by the idea that Obama and the Democrats are weak.


So once again I ask you the same rhetorical question. Miss George bush yet. Darn straight I do!

Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You:Scary Truth About Obama care

This video reveals one some of the scariest parts of the health reform bill making it's way through congress. President Kennedy said ask not what your country can do for you... And darned good advice it was. Especially in light of this alarming video showing Congressman Mike Rodgers explaining what Obama care actually means to real people in the real world.

The thing that floored me the most is that Mr. Rodgers points out provisions in the bill that would actually allow the government to "dis enroll you and your employer" from the plan you currently enjoy! This is frightening!

All the liberal talking heads as well as politicians are scratching their collective heads trying to figure out what is scaring the daylights out of the protesters,townhallers and teaparty'ers.

They claim it is a manifestation of lingering racism in this country. They can't understand that people feel that government interference and control of their lives is getting out of control.

The liberals at large and in government can't understand that as Congressman Rodgers puts it

..."we're going to raise you're energy costs, we're going to tell you what kind of car to drive,we're going to tell you what kind of bulb to put in, and what kind of window to put in your house, and oh by the way we're going to pick you're doctor and health care plan for you."

They can't understand that government interference doesn't set well with people who are more and more inclined to the sentiment of just leave me the hell alone!

Ask not what your country can do for you very good advice indeed!

Unfortunate circumstance forces blog to return to old url



Scary Picture. This is why mostly I blog and don't do the U Tube thing. Approximately 6 months and almost 100 or possibly more posts I find myself in just about the same place I was then.

Let me explain, the title of this post alludes to the fact that I have switched back to http://todayspoliticsfreedomlover.blogspot.com/

Awhile back I purchased a custom domain for a small sum and switched my URL to http://todayspoliticsbyfreedomlover.net/

Why you may ask did I do that! Just crazy I guess. I had read on some blogger pages that having a custom domain could raise the visibility of my site.

NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!!!!! Sorry for raising the volume but prior to changing to the .net clicks to my site were steadily increasing.

Then I advertised my blog and clicks really took off at the highest point my site was getting 45 to 50 hits a day. Not a whole lot, but,my stats were trending upward at a healthy rate. So I said I'll switch to a custom domain.

Big mistake. It was a mistake because if you switch domains blogger will restrict their robot from reading the posts on your site. Therefore you will not show up on google searches or any other search service.

Not long ago through some simple searches I could find many of my articles. Today I checked and I could only find any results by searching the exact name of this blog. What results I did get showed only the name of my blog with a blurb beneath about Today's Politics By Freedom lover privacy policy.

So I have switched back to my original URL. I am hoping this will remove the restriction ,but,I don't know. I fear it won't. At this point my blog is dead. The only way I can get any hits is to post my blog on sites that allow that. No clicks from google searches etc. etc.

I suspect that I will still be restricted. If you follow this blog it is more than likely that I will be going over to Wordpress. I don't think I'll have too much to lose.

If this happens the name of this blog may change-hopefully for the better-so stay tuned and look for any changes that may occur. At this point six months work is mostly gone and I will have to start over again.

Bottom line if you start a blog on Blogger start it WITH a custom domain otherwise if you try to switch later take my word for it, it will KILL YOUR BLOG

I hope this keeps someone else avoid the pain that I am going through with my blog.

Obama,Wealthredistribution and The Second Bill of Rights

We cannot be content...if some fraction of our people—whether it be one-third or one-fifth or one-tenth—is ill-fed, ill-clothed, ill-housed, and insecure...This Republic had its beginning, and grew to its present strength, under the protection of certain inalienable political rights...these political rights proved inadequate to assure us equality in the pursuit of happiness.

These words from F.D.R's Jan.11,1944 state of the union address form the basis for the modern Democratic party's doctrine of economic and social equality otherwise known as "wealth redistribution".

Roosevelt contended that the fundamental political rights secured to us in the original Bill of Rights were inadequate to provide for the economic "right" of making a decent living,having a house,good medical care, and a good education. and proposed a "Second Bill of Rights"

No one can argue that these are goals that our nation should not strive for-but as Jesus said- "the poor will be with you always." F.D.R was wrong to assert the bill of rights did not provide for the rights to a job, home,health,education. I'm no legal scholar but the ninth amendment states...

"The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."

My opinion is that these right didn't need to be secured by a second bill of rights but are already secured to them by the ninth amendment and indeed the entire Bill of Rights. People have the right to determine the path of their own life, and make life decisions, that will affect the achievement of the goals set out by Roosevelt.

In the times when the Constitution was written there was much poverty, poor health care, and education was something individuals had to pay for, do themselve, or do without. If the founders had thought that people had a "right" to a job, house,car,health care, and education they would have written it into the Constitution. They created the best environment they could-and in fact it has been the best in the world-for achieving the aforementioned goals.

Enter Barack Obama. Barack and the Liberals in Congress seem to think there are fundamental flaws in the constitution that need to be remedied. Many on the left seek a "Second Bill of Right.

Others on the other hand seem to think the way to go-and in fact they've been doing it for years-is to achieve them in the courts. But they are stymied by what they see as a flaw "the restrictions placed on the courts by the Constitution"!

These restrictions are not a flaw, rather they are something to be celebrated. These restrictions -so far- have kept federal judges and justices from seizing individual wealth and property for the purposes of meeting the goals of the Second Bill of Rights.

In my opinion these goals can be achieved-but not their way-but through the private sector,individual responsibility, and good old fashioned hard work.

Barack we don't need wealth redistribution, socialism, or Marxist Ideology. We need only to get back to the principles and ethics that made this country great!

Finally A Politician That Gets It

It's been a very long time since we have had a truly free market form of capitalism in this country. Even before the great depression certain regulations and controls were already being placed on the free market system.


Then came the great depression and the Roosevelt administration. American capitalism has never been the same. The time period from the election of F.D.R until the the start of our involvement in WWII was marked by the greatest expansion of government power over the entire economic system in American history until the present time.


In essence we began traveling down the road to more and more socialism. At first it was a rather gradual descent but the incline steepened during the great society days of Lyndon Johnson. Under Nixon wage and price controls caused another steepening of this downward trend we were still traveling the socialist road.


Things remained about the same, and lead to an economy that increasingly was being drug down and weakened by excessive regulations and controls.


Then a great change came and Ronald Reagan was elected president. Under the greatest President of modern times some of this over regulation as-well as taxation-of the economy was rolled back and for 20 some years we experienced the greatest period of prosperity in world History.


But alas Mr. Reagan is no longer with us. No now we have a person who the left has tried to characterize as "Their Ronald Reagan". But our current president is definitely no Ronald Reagan. rather one could argue that he is the anti-Reagan.


Since the Socialistic Democratic take over of Congress, and the ascension of Barack Obama to the highest office in the land we have plunged headlong into socialism!


Mr. Klaus tells us the present crisis does not represent a failure of capitalism, but rather, a failure of government and of the doctrine of over regulation, taxation, and control.


In a speech today to the National Press club intitled "The Future of Eastern and Central Europe Mr. Klaus reveals another gem of wisdom"Markets cannot be constructed they must evolve".


I hope some of the Democrats were listening. In a free market system you cannot make a market for anything. Their first has to be a need or desire that is not being met, then someone has to figure a way to fill that niche and fulfill that need or desire.


But what is our government doing today. Trying to regulate, legislate, and create from a whole cloth an entirely new economy. They are not satisfied with trying to correct present problems -which by and large-are a result of too much government.


No,instead they think,we must have government become involved in every nook and cranny of our economy and society and form it into what they view as a more desirable system. Trouble is that system looks alarmingly like communism.


In the speech Mr. Klaus delivered today he said "Communism wasn't defeated...it melted down". In other words it crumbled under the weight of a bloated centralized government that sought to control every aspect of society.


This should serve as a cautionary tale to our leaders in Washington. Government control of society and the markets does not work and is inevitably bound to fail!


Toward the end of President Klaus address to the National press club he was asked if he would do anything to protect Czech society from market capitalism and his answer was an unequivicable NO! In stead he promised to do all he could to promote the growth and spread of free market capitalism in Czech society. This man is a true Democrat in the sense of being a strong defender of liberty and freedom.


Look this guy up and I think you will agree with me we need this freedomlover as our President!

Beating the Left at their own game



Nancy Pelosi created quite a stir with her comments about the tone of recent political discourse. She feigned controlled outrage over what liberals love to call "hate speech"

But what she was actually doing was throwing "red meat" to her base on the far left. During a report on Fox News Live desk Fri.Sept 18,2009 the commentator points out that the same day Nancy seemed so emotional her office sent out a letter asking supporters to contribute money "so no amount of Republican shouting" could stop what she is trying to accomplish in Congress.

I suspect that her outrage was really caused by the fact that earlier the Congress had pulled funding for Acorn. I believe she was outraged because free speech in a free society had caused the government to make a dramatic change in policy.

Pelosi and company had no problem with strident and militant protest by the left under George Bush. But-I believe-the true source of their frustration is that the right has taken a page from the lefts play book and is beating the tar out of them.


By their own admission the people who organized the March on Washington had indeed used formerly liberal tactics taken mainly from Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals".

The libs have long had experience with outspoken protest and radical and oft times extreme language. I can remember the protests of the sixties and early seventies and let me tell you even if the right is using left wing strategies their rhetoric is quite tame compared to some of the rhetoric in vogue at that time.

The S.D.S openly called for the overthrow of the "establishment",and, the Weathermen perpetrated actual terrorist acts against this country.

Now Ms. Pelosi is all bent out of shape because ordinary conservative citizens have expressed their views in often loud and boisterous ways. the difference though is conservatives have-as of yet-not employed violence. In fact this summers protests have been remarkably peaceful especially when contrasted with the protests when Bush was president

For years activists on the left have consistently made conservatives out to be Nazis and potential tyrants. Remember not so long ago some of the same lefties that have their panties in a wad now were claiming that the family values movement wanted to establish a theocracy.

No I suspect the reason the left and Pelosi have suddenly become so "patriotic" and outraged that we would dare question and stand up to this regime-as well as threatening to bring regime change-is that for once the right is beating them at their own game.

Is Nancy Pelosi Calling for Censorship

This is a little scary and somewhat creepy. But then again every time I see Nancy Pelosi it scares me and creeps me out. In the video Nancy gets asked about the tone of the current national debate and gives her opinion on what she seems to feel may constitute a threat to public safety.

What really chills me about this is her subtle talk about taking responsibility for our words, as well as, any as she say's "incitement" that they may contain.

She is trying to raise a specter of people becoming unhinged and doing something stupid. This may be a vehicle that her and her fellow radicals will use to justify government monitoring-and possible censorship of-such mediums as the Internet, chat rooms,social networking platforms etc.

The founders saw government-as well as-government officials-as a necessary evil. This is a good example of why that fear was justified. Especially in light of this quote from aim.org.

"Talk radio’s suspicions of a movement to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine were confirmed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Tuesday June 24 during her comments at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast. When John Gizzi, an editor for Human Events asked Speaker Pelosi whether she favored a return of the Fairness Doctrine, she told him an unhesitating “yes,” reports Gizzi."

I may be slightly paranoid here, but I can see this as the beginning of a rational for using "responsibility" for ones word as an excuse to blame critics for things that fringe nuts might do.

I hope I'm wrong but as hungry for-as well as drunk with-power that the Democrats seem to be I fully expect them to use talk like this to resurrect the fairness doctrine.

Bottom line,only time will tell. I hope I'm wrong.

Black Racism Exposed

The video on this post shows a white student being beaten without mercy by some other black students. What did this kid do to deserve this beating? Nothing more than set down! That's it sit down!

According to Jimmy Z at the Jimmy Z show this student had been subject to this kind of harassment before-although not to the point of being beaten-theses kid would put a book or bag on the seat to keep him from setting down. Finally this kid had had enough and moved the bag and sat down.

Almost all the kids on this bus are black and when the trouble starts most get up and start cheering. In fact there are several who hoot time and again Damn! This outrageous conduct was being reinforced by other students.

Could you imagine if this had been mostly white kids and whites beat the beejesus out of a black kid! Hell there would be rioting in the streets.

I say a hate crime was perpetrated here, but the cops seem to think it was just teenagers being teenagers. Seems I read two of them were suspended from school.

Hell if this had been white kids doing this to a black kid they would be charged with violating his civil rights-as well as-racism.

Folks it's time we put race aside and condemn in the strongest terms this sort of misbehavior.

The kids who perpetrated this crime should be expelled for the rest of the year and be brought up on criminal charges.

The most disturbing part of this is the white kid appears to do nothing to protect himself. Whites have been so cowed by charges of racism and white guilt that many will not stand up for their own rights. This breeds disrespect from blacks and encourages them to think it's alright to attack whites.

Black or white this sort of unprovoked violence is UNACCEPTABLE!

Harry Reid and Reconciliation



I couldn't believe my eyes-well actually I could-when I saw that Harry Reid appears to have decided that he would "have no alternative" but to cram Obamacare down our throats.

Has prince Harry gone crazy? A mere three days after what arguably could be the biggest tea party yet Mr Reid says he has no choice but to use reconciliation?

Is the honorable-and I use that phrase very loosely here- senator living on another planet? I guess that he just doesn't get that more, and, more people are getting fed up with this mad dash toward socialism!

Consider some of these numbers. According to Rassmussen a whopping 52% of Nevadans oppose health reform while a scant
45% favor it.

I have to give it to o'l Harry looks like he's willing to put his principles ahead of his political ambitions. If he goes through with reconciliation he's going to be political toast!

The people of Nevada are becoming a little jaded about their long time senator. According to the same article from Rassmussen 45 percent of Nevadans see him favorably while 54 percent see him in an unfavorable light.

Looks to me like Harry had better be getting his bags packed, and ready to go, because he ain't going to be going back to Washington following the 2010 elections.

Arrogance is one thing I REALLY despise, and,I despise it even more in politicians who have forgotten that they are accountable to the people!

Yeah I'm betting that after next falls elections all of our eyes will be feeling better because we won't have to be seeing Harry Reid and-and his cohort in crime-Nancy Pelosi make jackasses of themselves.

Never under estimate the American People

Check out this video. The American people are getting fed up with being ignored, and dismissed by Washington. Come 2010 there IS going to be a REVOLUTION and the pols in power will find THEMSELVES on the outside looking in.

Unhinged Right Wing Racists













Well that's the way some liberal blogs and websites are characterizing anti-tax,anti-big government,pro-reform protesters. In an article from http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/09/13/opinion/main5307094.shtml the writer
,one Gary Younge, writes "It's not difficult to ridicule the American right. Its peculiar blend of paranoia, mania, fantasy and misanthropy has been given full rein these past few months."

Notice how anyone who disagrees with the left in this country is branded as being paranoid having a mania or some other typical ad-hominum attack. This is standard operating procedure for those on the left. Marginalize,and demonize,that seems to be their motto.

Take this quote for example "These are the people who believe that civil rights was really about miscegenation, abortion rights is about promiscuity and gay rights is about pedophilia. There are more of them than we'd like to think. And they are not going away" .This is a perfect example of the tactics of the left.

The Tea Party Protesters are not a bunch of wild eyed paranoid anti civil rights homophobic nuts. They are ordinary citizens who have looked at what Barack and Congress are doing and are concerned it will destroy this nation.

In a similar vein on a site called racism review http://www.racismreview.com/blog/2009/09/13/systemic-racism-as-economic-depression/#comment-10169 someone named Joe posted the above linked article. In that article we find the following quote from The Center for Social Inclusion "• Unemployment is 26.5% for young Black men, 14.2% for Young Latino men, and 11.7% for young White men. • Wages dropped 5.6% for Latinos, 4.4% for Asians, 2.8% for Blacks, and 2.6% for Whites."

Joe goes on to make the following statement " In addition to showing once again that this is far from an egalitarian country, these data help explain why the demonstrators in Washington, DC, yesterday (Sept. 12), estimated around 50,000, against President Obama and his health care plan were almost all white."

I have to agree that a majority of these protesters are indeed white,but, that doesn't automatically,make them racists. Sweeping -as well as incorrect generalizations like this-only reveal the bigotry of the individuals who wrote them.

Mr young goes on to make this statement "Annoying, bizarre, incoherent, divisive, intolerant, small-minded, misinformed, ill informed and disinformed, certainly. But stupid and crazy--anything but."

Well well seems the right aren't the only ones that are annoying intolerant and small minded. That quote is ample evidence of the narrow mindedness and intolerance of the so called "Progressive Left". In fact the entirety of both theses articles are absolute proof of the bigotry, intolerance and outright narrow mindedness of the left.


The left needs to take a deep breath, open their ears, and close their mouths and realize not everybody thinks that more and bigger government is the solution to this nations problems.


In fact these protests prove that a growing number of Americans believe that government IS the problem

"That Will Never Happen in America"





Just another lazy Sunday Morning. My post for today is not anything that I wrote. It is something that was e-mailed to me by a friend and is very very relevant for these times. I have read that there were upwards to two million at the rally in Washington Sept. 12 2009.



This message that was sent to me sums up-I believe- the feelinngs of many of those protesters-as well as my own-our so called leaders in Washington need to pay heed to this message, as ,well as the message of the tea party protesters.





""What would you say if I gave you 11 reasons why the elections in2010 will be the most important in the history of the United States?

1. What if I had told you in October 2008, before the lastpresidential election, that before Barack Obama's first 100 days in office,the federal government would be in control of both the mortgage and thebanking industries? That 19 of America's largest banks would be forced toundergo stress tests by the federal government which would determine if theywere insufficiently capitalized, so they must be supervised by thegovernment?Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen in America..

What if I had told you that the federal deficit would be $915billion in the first six months of the Obama presidency - with a projectedannual deficit of $1.75 trillion - triple the $454.8 billion in 2008, forwhich the previous administration was highly criticized by Obama and hisfellow Democrats. That congress would pass Obama's $3.53 trillion federalbudget for fiscal 2010. That the projected deficit over the next ten yearswould be greater than $10 trillion.Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

5. What if I had told you that the Obama Justice Department wouldorder FBI agents to read Miranda rights to high-value detainees captured onthe battlefield and held at US military detention facilities in Afghanistan.That Obama would order the closing of the Guantanamo detention facilitywith no plan for the disposition of the 200-plus individuals held there.That several of the suspected terrorists at Guantanamo would be sent to livein freedom in Bermuda at the expense of the US government That ourreturning US veterans would be labeled terrorists and put on a watch list.Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen inAmerica."

6. What if I had told you that the federal government would seekpowers to seize key companies whose failures could jeopardize the financialsystem. That a new regulatory agency would be proposed by Obama to controlloans, credit cards, mortgage-backed securities, and other financialproducts offered to the public.Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen inAmerica."

7. What if I had told you that Obama would travel to the MiddleEast, bow before the Saudi king, and repeatedly apologize for America's pastactions. That he would travel to Latin America where he would warmly greetVenezuela's strongman Hugo Chavez and sit passively in the audience whileNicaraguan Marxist thug Daniel Ortega charged America with terroristaggression in Central America.Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

8. Okay, now what if I were to tell you that Obama wants todismantle conservative talk radio through the imposition of a new "FairnessDoctrine." That he wants to curtail the First Amendment rights of those whomay disagree with his policies via Internet blogs, cable news networks, oradvocacy ads. That most major network television and most newspapers willonly sing his phrases like state-run media in communist countries?Would you say, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

9. What if I were to tell you that the Obama Justice Department isdoing everything it can to limit your Second Amendment rights to keep andbear arms. What if I were to tell you that the Obama plan is to eliminatestates rights guaranteed by the Tenth Amendment and give the federalgovernment sweeping new powers over policies currently under the province oflocal and state governments and voted on by the people. That Obama plans tocontrol the schools, energy production, the environment, health care, andthe wealth of every US citizen.Would you say, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

11. What if I were to tell you that the president, the courts, and the federal government have ignored the US Constitution and have seized powers which the founders of our country fought to restrict.

That our last presidential election may have been our last truly free election for sometime to come. That our next presidential election may look similar to the one recently held in Iran. (And maybe under review by ACORN.)I know, I know what you will say.

That will never happen in America. If we don't do everything in our power to stop this madness in 2010, may God have mercy on our souls. Pass this on to every freedom loving American you can.

9-11 Tribute



This is an awesome video. On 911 and the following days and weeks later America saw clearly the danger that had presented itself to this country. We went to war against those who started this violence and we ROCKED their world.

Sadly today many seem to have forgotten that the war on terror is not over. Our president and his liberal buddies in congress want to go back to a 911 mindset. I fear that as long as they are in power we are at a greater risk of another attack on this country.

At least-love him or hate him-W. saw the clear and present danger these terrorist represented and acted accordingly.

We cannot let up on theses true war criminals until they have all been hunted down and killed or made to surrender.

Senate Finance Committee healthcare proposals:Tax! Tax! Tax!





"Government's view...could be summed up in a few short phrases:If it moves, tax it.If it keeps moving, regulate it.And if it stops moving, subsidize it." Ronald Reagan

And it seems they're at it again. I'm talking about a report issued by the senate finance committee earlier this year dealing with proposed changes to America's health care system.
The name of the report is Financing Comprehensive Healthcare Reform:Proposed Health System Savings And Revenue Options. This is the senate finance committees blue print for proposals to change our present system.

This is a fairly extensive document-although no match for the House bill- and runs to 41 pages,and is loaded,and I mean Loaded with proposed new taxes. And here are just a few of the proposals that we may see included in the S.F.C. draft bill.

" A number of options could be considered that would limit the value of employer-provided health coverage that is exclude able from gross income. The limit could be based on the value of the plan or the income of the insured, or the limit could be a combination of both. Alternatively, the limit could be tied to a percentage of the value of the employer-provided health coverage."

Here's a big one. this is found in SECTION II: Options to Modify the Exclusion for Employer-
Provided Health Coverage.
There it is the liberals in the senate want to tax your health benefits and make them a part of your gross income.

All this will do is cause some workers to drop their employer provided health care, and since they don't have a public option, force these people to go without insurance.

This is just the tip of the Iceberg and oh what an iceberg it is. Some other proposals would alter or eliminate H.S.A.'s and Flex Spending accounts.

These folks want to take one of the better reform of recent years-a reform that actually encourages people to take more responsibility for their health care-and destroy it-or at the very least-tax it to death. It gets even better in SECTION IV: Lifestyle Related Revenue Raisers we find proposals for new taxes on soft drinks,distilled alchohol,wine and beer. They're going to drive you to drink with all their new taxes and tax the hell out of you again if you do.

If that wasn't bad enough they also propose eliminating credits for domestic oil and gas exploration, as well as ,domestic refining. They have also set their sights on alternative fuels. What ever happened to energy Independence?

The final section deals with proposed revenue enhancements put forth by the Obama administration. Once again oodles and oodles of new taxes.

Dear reader if you think things are bad now it looks we may be going to worse very soon. I have only managed to scratch the surface of this turkey, and if even half of this comes out in the final draft, then everyone who cares about the health, well being, fitness not only of individuals, but also this nation and it's economy, needs to send a loud no thank you to congress.

Once again more change we can darn sure live without

Acorn a crooked oak tree?



There's an old saying"from a little acorn a mighty oak tree grows".

Fox news has reported that 11 Acorn workers have been arrested on charges of voter fraud.

This is very interesting news especially if taken in the light of the recent elections in Iran and Afghanistan.

What-you may ask-do Iran and Afghanistan have to do with Acorn? Well in both of the aforementioned cases the elections either were rigged,as in the case of Iran,or fraught with outright fraud as appears to have happened in Afghanistan.

What does this have to do with American elections and Acorn? All over the nation there have been complaints, allegations, and investigations into Acorns role in recent Democratic party victories.

Fox news is reporting "The FBI and state authorities took six people into custody Wednesday as it issued 11 arrest warrants for voter registration fraud in Homestead, Fla., in June 2008."

We all remember the election of 2000 and the contentious battle waged in Florida over vote count and electors.

Allegations of vote fraud are particularly worrisome. Trust in the electoral process is a cornerstone of any Democracy,and in recent years, such allegations seem to have skyrocketed.

Voter confidence in the electoral process was shaken mightily by the 200 Florida spectacle and now it seems that the Democratic Party may have an ally that seems to be perfecting the art of election fraud.

If nonsense like this isn't stopped immediately our nation's elections may become as questionable as those in Iran Afghanistan or some South American banana republic.

People are right to be outraged at such actions, and the Democratic party should denounce and distance themselves from Acorn and any other group charged with election fraud allegations.

Acorn may have started out as a tiny community activism organization but it appears they may be growing into a mighty-crooked oak tree-of the liberal left able to influence elections and alter the history of this nation.

For the sake of freedom we have to get integrity re-established in our electoral process.

Obama's approval rating ties Nixon's



According to a recent Gallup Poll for the week ending Aug. 30 2009 President Obama's overall approval rating is currently hovering around 50%.
This puts Obama on par with Richard Nixon's job approval rating going into September in his first term

Those polled gave Obama a 52% approval rating versus a 41% disapproval rating. To me this is a rather stunning turn in the Fortunes of our 44th President.

When elected last year one could argue that President Obama was one of the most popular Presidential candidates-in recent times- having won the election-according to CNN-with nearly 67 million votes compared to John McCain's 58 million.

Consider also that Mr. Obama won the electoral vote by a whopping 365 electoral votes compare to McCain's 173. This gave Obama a comfortable 53 to 46 percent victory over the Arizona Senator.

Obama seems to be falling in favor like a rock. This is stunning given the fact he started his first term in office at 68% approval the only recent President with a higher rating after his first month in office was John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

What could be the cause for his rapidly declining favor in opinion polls? I think one word sums it up spending. The people have watched as this President and congress have spent money like drunken sailors with apparently no end in sight.

Americans are disturbed that this horrific increase in spending will have disastrous consequences for this country in the long run.

In another area directly connected to spending the townhall meetings show that a sizable number of Americans reject his health care proposals. And yet Obama keeps pushing a public option and Congress is threatening to pass a public option over the will of the people.

Add to this all the bad publicity from tax evading cabinet appointees and bizarre Czars-that have been exposed as far left radicals- and it is little wonder the American people are becoming skeptical about this President.

Many-like myself- are coming to the conclusion that President Obama borders upon being a Communist-and is at the least- the most far left President we have had to date.

It is my humble opinion that unless this President purges his administration of distasteful radicals, and modifies his support for far left socialist policies, this trend will only continue and Barack Obama-like James Earl Carter- will be a "One Term Wonder".

Who Should We Prosecute?




In recent day's there has been a lot of talk in the media, as well as, by the administration in Washington about investigating CIA plans to assasinate Bin Laden and other top Al-Queda and Taliban leaders.

Prominent liberal leaders have expressed outrage over Bush administration plans to deploy a secret team of Blackwater personnel to take down Bin Laden.
What a bunch of hypocrites! Liberal members of the Senate and the house have decried the fact that CIA explored the idea of assasinating-though apparently CIA shelved the plans-Bin laden.

Apparently they have developed some form of amnesia. I recall that when Clinton was President there was more than one attempt to kill the terrorist leader. Remember when the cruise missiles arrived in Bin Laden's camp, but Bin Laden escaped just minutes before they arrived.

During George Bush's entire time in office the democrats were constantly asking why Bin Laden hadn't been killed or captured. Time and Time again democrats would appear on the Sunday news shows and demand to know what the Bush administration was trying to do to eliminate Osama.

I always got the feeling they wanted me to think that if they were in power they would do whatever it takes to get rid of this bastard Bin Laden. As well they should.

Here comes the rub. Now the Liberal Democrats are in charge. And what is the focus of their rage? Is it Osama bin Laden and the Leadership of Al-Queda and the Taliban?

No the focus of their rage is the CIA, Bush administration lawyers, and George Bush and Dick Cheney. They want to investigate and Charge anyone connected with any plan to assasinate Islam's premier terrorist.

Is it just me or are their priorities totally screwed up. Apparently they think that Bush's attempts to keep this country safe- and I think Bush was successful in doing so-was more of a threat to this country than the War on terror. Oops I mean "Overseas contingency operations".

The idiots on the left don't-and probably never will-understand the true nature of the foe we are up against. We can say we are not at war with them but that won't change the fact that they ARE at war with us.

So again I ask who SHOULD we prosecute?

In my opinion we should Prosecute a vigorous WAR on terror and do everything in our power-including assasination-to eliminate Osama bin Laden-The Taliban-and any other terrorist or terrorist leaders that get in our way!

Trying to prosecute Bush and company for keeping America safe borders on madness!

Response to Reality Check Blog at the White House

Here it is my response to the call from the White House for Americans to express what they think about Health care reform.

Although they want people to join their propaganda spin team and endorse their communo-fascist healthcare debacle. I decided to give what I think is the best approach to health care reform.

1. Tort reform. Lawsuits cost consumers billions over time.

2.expand HSA's Health Savings Accounts. Make them tax deductible,and or give a tax credit for contributing.

3.Make it possible for individuals and small businesses to form groups and get the same national rates that huge corporations like Microsoft, Ford Motors ,IBM etc. get

This is a simple common sense solution which Washington cannot accept because it is simple and common sense.

If you read this contact your congress man, and representative and ask them to support John Thune's and Michelle Bachman's common sense proposals for real health reform.

No this "Reality Check" is the new website the White House has "rolled out" to replace the now infamous flag@whitehouse.com. Just another dead link!

Yes Comrade Barack wants all good comrades of the great socialist state to know"the White House is rolling out a new website ".

In one of my recent posts I mentioned the flag@whitehouse.gov link and hoped it was a dead link. After I made that post I checked the link and was redirected to the "Reality Check"blog There was a contact link and I clicked it and said I would be asking questions about the HORRIBLE health care bill.
