What a great song: "Courtesy of The Red White and Blue"
I love this song! I can still remember vividly the first time I heard it. It was a few days after the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 ,and I was driving home from K.C. Missouri listening to a country station on the radio, when on comes this song.
In the emotional time after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, this song summed up perfectly the feelings I felt toward those who had attacked our country. When I think about that dread full day when the Twin towers fell I still become extremely angry.
Well here we are nine years later. A lot has changed since then. The war on terror has been joined, and the terrorist scum have felt the wrath of this great country. Unfortunately they seem to have a learning disability in that every time we punish them they continue to pull their nonsense again and again.
We all need to keep in mind who we are as a people, and how great this nation is. The war that was forced upon us on Sept 11 will be a long war indeed. We are up against a determined enemy! There is only one war with many fronts. On the Iraqi front we have had a measure of success.
The Afghan front is currently the main theater of operation. But make no mistake theses folks are at war with the entire civilized world. But I have no doubt that they will be defeated "Courtesy of The Red White and Blue
