Recently I watched a video from stansberryresearch.com. It was a video at www.newamerica26.com showing in very simple easy to understand terms that the wheels are about to come off the American bus,and, very soon if something doesn't change real quick.

In fact it may already be to late. In the words of the video you will see at this site what is about to happen to this nation will threaten our freedom,security, and our very way of life.

The way we work,where we live,and in essence everything we do is about to radically change because we have spent way more money than we have and are printing worthless money at an astonishing rate.

Soon we may even see the dollar quit being the reserve currency of the world,at which time, America's money will be worth nothing,and, to put it mildly our asses will be cooked.

I like to fire people too!

Well, well, well, the lame stream media is at it again. Yes the meisters of spin are in overdrive twisting and taking out of context the words of Mitt Romney who said"I like to fire people".

It was all over the morning shows...
                 "Romney makes mistake on campaign trail"
or some drivel like that. Give me a break by now we all know Mitt was talking about firing his insurance company!

This is what's wrong-not with politics-but journalism! Instead of just reporting the story in its context and allowing people to decide for themselves they chose to try to fool people into thinking Mitt loves nothing better than to fire working people and then laugh at their misfortune.

What intellectual dishonesty! For the sake of full disclosure I admit right here that I am no fan of Mitt Romney. I think he is a great guy,a good upright moral man,but,I don't want him to be President. With that said neither can I sit idly by while the media distort what Romney said. in regards to insurance companies he was saying he likes to have the choice not to retain their services.

Hell who doesn't. If the restaurant I go to doesn't serve me well I'll go somewhere else. Oh my God I just fired that establishment!

Come to think of it it is the same in the real world-as I heard on the radio today- haven't we all worked wit h some jerk we wish we could fire?

Its time we be honest with each other we all like to fire people. I like to fire people and I can think of three people I would really like to fire,Barack Obama,Harry Reid,and Nancy Pelosi and if I have to vote for Romney for that to happen, I will! I know Mitt will like firing them now lets see if our other candidates want to too.

What comes after the Tea Party? Revolution!! So say's Herman Cain in his latest video launching his new campaign "Cain Solutions Revolution"!! Wow he is back and back big time!

Herman is inspiring,defiant, and sounding a rallying call for all true conservatives to stand up and be counted!
Cain say's "We the people are coming and we want our power back".

Well said Herman. We the people are sick and tired of politicians who think they can manipulate us. Who think that we are just pawns in their power game!

The sleeping giant of the American populace is indeed awake and we want real change. Not the phony change of the Obama regime but the change that  will come when we return to the founding principles of this great republic.

Cain calls for a revolution,for history to repeat,in other words for We The People to stand up and let All the politicians, both left and right, that it is We The People who call the shots.

His is a clarion call for all those who love this country to put our elected officials on notice that real change in this country comes from the bottom up not the top down!

We don't need a nanny state telling us what is good for us. Rather we demand a government that will respond to the will of We The People!

Herman begins this video by saying "they think we are stupid". In other words the liberal media, the Democratic party ,and so called progressives,both left and right. perceive us as mindless sheep who are easily led.

Nothing is further from the truth! It is indeed time to stand up and demand that our elected representatives in Washington do what we say not the other way around!!

That is how I feel bowed under the burden of concern I have for our nation. The recent events with OWS-as well as-the shannigans of Berry and the Dems in Congress show that this country is on a headlong "progressive" course to European style socialism!

These are perilous times. Our economy remains in shambles,Europe is on the brink of economic collapse,and China is rising, and,yet Berry and his minions dawdle and do nothing but propose more of the socialist nonsense that got us here.

We -the conservative movement-need a candidate with the principles and philosophy of Ronald Reagan. And yet -since Cain was forced out -I see no one,absolutely no one,who fits the Bill.

 Mitt Romney supported socialized,mandated, insurance as Governor. His tax program does not contain any real reform, he seems to be just telling people what he thinks they want to hear,and, in my opinion ,he comes off a little phony. In short he is a prepackaged box of marketed soap!

Ron Paul? one word Crazy!

Rick Santorum: Hah! He doesn't appear to stand a chance at this time.

Bachman: Really solid conservative-as well as Tea Party candidate-but not ready for Prime time.

As for Gingrich. He is nothing more than a Conservative Progressive and he will always favor big government over smaller limited government period.

The rest don't even deserve mention. So where do we go from here? Prayer. It seems that is the only solution left. Pray that God will raise up a person who will stand up for individual freedom, reform taxes,stand for a strong United States,and seek to limit the power and scope of government.

P.S. A short word about Herman Cain. I sincerely wish he would reignite his campaign. I was appalled at the savagery of the coordinated liberal attack against Cain. These women that were trotted out were nothing more than a political assassination team.

Their disingenous claims that they were not politically motivated is hogwash!

Once again America has been robbed by the liberal political/media machine of an opportunity to have a truly great President.

So says 2012 Presidential hopeful Herman Cain. Cain is a true American. A man cut in the mold of Ronald Reagan! Like Reagan, Herman comes from humble circumstances. Ronald Reagan came from a struggling poor white family in the great depression. Cain came from a struggling poor black family in the same time period.

Both men, convinced that in America you can achieve anything, grabbed the bull by the horns, and took control of their own destiny! They didn't see their poverty as a hindrance, but rather a strength that propelled them forward to success.

Both men had a strong and abiding faith in the truth of America; that anyone can achieve what they dream if they are willing to work, persevere, and believe!

Go Herman Cain!! The next President of the greatest nation on earth, the United States of America.

9/11 Remembered: Ten Years Later

What a wonderful late August day I enjoyed today! Humidity low,temp in the 80's,clear blue bowl sky,very much like that fateful day,Sept.11,2001, when our world changed,and,life would never be the same.

This afternoon I finally came inside and logged online and found some really good articles about 9/11. What struck me most-as well as angered me-is how much progress has been made -not only at Ground Zero- but in the War on Terror as well-and the M.S.M. isn't saying a damned thing about it!

Consider for example this link 9/11 Memorial Site at Ground Zero. I was astounded by how much progress has been made in rebuilding the W.T.C. complex and memorial-and yet-I haven't seen anything on N.B.C,C.B.S,or A.B.C, about it! Why? Why haven't theses networks-that claim to be "news organizations" been having regular updates on the progress at "Ground Zero"?

As I pondered this-with tears in my eyes- I actually became angry. It seems to me that many of these "so-called" journalists want you and me to forget what happened on that horrific day back in 2001. They want us to forget that we were attacked by a band of Islamic Fascists who would see us all dead,they want us to forget about the strong and determined leadership of our -then President-George W.Bush, and they want us to be kept in the dark about the progress we have made -not only in rebuilding the W.T.C-but also in the "War on Terror"!

Take a moment to think about this,since 9/11 we have deposed Saddam Hussein, we liberated Iraq and have given them a chance to forge their own Democracy, we have stomped Al-Qaeda into the ground across the globe,and most of all cut the head off the Al-Qaeda snake,by killing Osama Ben Laden may he rot in hell!

At the site of the World trade center we have made substantial progress in rebuilding-as well as memorializing-that tragic event. We have seen the Arab world respond the George W. Bush's call to seek Democracy, in Egypt, Syria,Libya and other places. This is a repudiation of the Al-Qaeda doctrine that freedom and democracy are incompatible with Islam! 

While Bush was President we were asked time and time again what victory in the war on terrorism would look like. I say it looks a lot like what we are witnessing today! 

We have driven Al-Qaeda to their knees, we have witnessed the Arab spring,and we are showing the dogs who attacked us on Sept.11,2001,that we will rebuild,we will fight,and we will prevail.

Obama tells us to "Up our game" but I say Washington needs to up theirs!!

Well it seems our President Barack  Hussien Obama seems to think that we need to "up our game"!

Well, I say, Washington needs to up its game!! We the people have the drive, the foresight,and innovation to get the job done.

What we need is for clowns like Obama, Reid,and Pelosi to get out of the way and let the creative genius and force of the American people have it's way.

We need Washington to quit thinking they can control the economy with taxes,=regulations,and, sigh,Obama care, and get out of the way and let America work like this nation was intended to work.

What we need is for Washington to up it's game and allow our oil companies to drill in Anwar,in the Gulf,and off both coasts. We need these clowns to cut spending and corporate-as well as-individual taxes!

In short it is time for our Government to go back to providing a stable and safe place for people to work and business to flourish rather than try to micro manage every aspect of our national life!

The Old Soviet union tried that nonsense and all they did was destroy their nation and fail miserably!!

In what can only be termed a bizarre-yet creatively funny-post at the CDC's blog "Public Health Matters" assistant Surgeon General Ali S Khan explores the possibility of a coming "Zombie Apocalypse" and gives guidelines for surviving a zombie disaster.
Much of it is just plain old fashioned common sense ideas for any disaster it does however contain a breif but informative "History of Zombies,a preparedness plan,as well as,a link to your very own survival kit from the CDC.

Quite often we criticize bureaucrats for their lack of imagination but I have to say I find this a funny breath of fresh air from one of those bureaucrats we love to make fun of!
One thing I did notice in all the great advice for surviving a zombie attack was the lack of any advice about weaponry. I guess that's in keeping with the liberal orthodoxy about guns and such that we are all to well acquainted with.
However there is a link in the article to a Wikipedia entry called "The Zombie Survival Guide" that does advise using M1 carbines and other weapons for self defense against the blood drinking brain eating monsters

Outrage in Indiana citizens have no right to resist unwarranted search or seizure.

That's right folks Big Brother is watching you-not only is he watching he is winning-yes big Brother is alive and well right here in the good o'l U.S.of A.!

Why do I say this? Why do I make such an outlandish claim? Because of this outrage that I have learned about in Indiana. An outrage against your Constitutional rights-and-the Constitution itself.

It seems that the Indiana Supreme court has decided that....

"In a 3-2 decision, Justice Steven David writing for the court said if a police officer wants to enter a home for any reason or no reason at all, a homeowner cannot do anything to block the officer’s entry."

What? an officer can enter my home for "any reason or no reason at all"?!!  This is an outrage!! As far as blocking the officers entry that is a mute point. This court has decided that the cops can enter your home for any or no reason WITHOUT a WARRANT. Hell if your not home to block their entry-which this court has decided you can't do anyway-the way I read it they still would have the right to ENTER your home!!!

This is EXACTLY the kind of bulls%$t by government that prompted the framers of the Constitution to put in the fourth amendment to that great document which says ....

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Did you notice the part about "unreasonable" searches?? The framers intended that law enforcement have a "reason" to enter your home,and,that they obtain the permission of a judge to do it!!

It does NOT say that the police can "enter your home for any reason or no reason at all"

Usama bin Laden dead oohrahh!!

What wonderful news! Usama bin Laden dead!! I almost did a jig when I heard the news this morning. One of the first thought s that came to mind was that this is reason for jubilation and celebration,and,soon enough I saw the footage of Americans celebrating this great victory in the war against Al Qaeda.

The second thing that came to mind was the song from the wizard of Oz  about "the wicked old witch is dead" except I was thinking it ha ha the bastards' dead the wicked old bastards'.

Finally- at long last- George Bush's promise that bin laden would be brought to justice has been brought to fruition.Yes Obama was at the helm,and gave the final order to kill bin laden,but,make no mistake this would not have happened without the commitment,determination,and dogged persistence of all our military,and, intelligence assets that were ordered into action by then President George W.Bush.

Bush was relentless in his pursuit of Al-Qaeda all over the world-and ironically-was opposed in his desire to take the fight to Al-Qaeda by the one who has sought to take credit for getting bin laden-Barack Obama.

I do give credit to Barack Obama for at least coming to his senses and realizing that this diseased maniac needed to be taken out. I applaud the fact that he gave the order to go for it,and, I especially applaud our brave Navy Seals for pulling this operation off with no American casualties despite one helicopter malfunctioning and having to be blown up. Job very well done to all involved!

As far as your call for "Republicans to take back their party"  what you really mean is that you want to see the    Republican party be taken over by neo-liberal RINO Republicans who think and act like you do!

Elections should be the very most important event in the life of a free nation I don't care which party wins,the people should care more about who wins the next election than who wins the Super bowl,or the Daytona 500!

Speaker Boehner! Now is not the time to capitulate!

As the Democrats in Congress continue to dig in their hind legs like jackasses-and refuse to give any real concessions to their Republican counterparts-it appears Speaker Boehner may be ready to capitulate to Harry-The Tea Party are radical extremists-Reid! To this I say now is not the time to capitulate!!

Mr. Boehner the Democrats when they controlled Congress never gave one inch to the demands of compromise from you and your colleagues.
They locked Republicans out of committee meetings on health care,they refused to listen to you about budget cuts,they continually stonewalled you folks at every turn in short they never compromise on anything whether they be in the majority or minority!

It's high time that you as Speaker and the house Republicans stand your ground and settle for nothing less than what we have sent you to do cut the 100 billion from the budget as you and your Republican colleagues promised!
As your compromise bill now stands we will only see a 23 billion dollar cut down from the 60 billion your bill that passed the house promised to give. What ever happened to "cut,cut,cut" the budget?

Compromise with Harry Reid will be very costly to you personally,and,conservatives in general. We the people are watching and will remember during the next election cycle which people stood their ground and fought for fiscal sanity and those who chose to compromise with those who would spend this nation into oblivion.

It is high time to go toe to toe with Harry Reid.-Reid claims to have once been a boxer though as wimpy as he looks and sounds I have a hard time believing it-and deliver to him a knock out blow. If the Democrats want to shut down the government let them do it and then put the blame squarely on their shoulders!

 Don't cave into them Mr. Speaker,instead,make them blink for a change,force them to back peddle on their promises,make them compromise their principles,and  instead, force them back to the table and demand they at least meet your demands for a 60 billion drop in the bucket cut to our national budget!, ,in short Mr. Speaker DO NOT Capitulate!

Now is not the time to capitulate!

Fukushima nuclear disaster now a meltdown.

In an earlier post I expressed the misgivings,and,trepidations,about nuclear power that the disaster in Fukushima have raised in my mind. Now comes word that -at least one-and possibly more- rector cores have melted through their steel containment vessels!

According to the U.K Guardian....

"The radioactive core in a reactor at the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant appears to have melted through the bottom of its containment vessel and on to a concrete floor, experts say, raising fears of a major release of radiation at the site."

This is very serious news indeed,and,only serves to reinforce the doubts I have about the current technology being used in the nuclear power in our water cooled heavy water reactors! True this -as of yet-is not on a par with Chernobyl-it is all the same-a very grave and dangerous situation that threatens to affect- God forbid- a large area around the Fukishima nuclear complex for years to come.

Consider thus quote from the Guardian article...

  "The reason we are concerned is that they are detecting water outside the containment area that is highly radioactive and it can only have come from the reactor core," Lahey added. "It's not going to be anything like Chernobyl, where it went up with a big fire and steam explosion, but it's not going to be good news for the environment."

Living within fifty miles of a nuclear reactor myself I can only imagine what could happen if some unforeseen disaster-say an f 5 tornado-were to cause a situation like this at that reactor. I might well be told to evacuate from the home and land I have lived on for forty years and never be able to return!

I'm trying to keep an open mind about nuclear power but is getting harder and harder to do.If this nation decides to pursue the expansion of this energy source I hope we will at least look toward newer-less threatening ideas such as thorium reactors or pebble bed reactors.

We must also have a sweeping review of all safety practices,procedures,as well as ,backup systems at all of our current and future reactors. We simply cannot afford to have this kind of catastrophe happen on American soil.

Well well seems the socialist crowd in England is growing sick of taxes on "Petrol"

I ran across this call for a Crusade to stop the petrol tax robbery over at The London Daily Express. It's almost like looking at a link on a conservative American blog calling for the reader to join in the movement against Obamacare or some such thing.
In almost tea party fashion it seems the Brits-who appear to me to be largely socialist- are growing sick and tired of the socialist establishment's taxes on what they call "petrol".


This is an interesting development -even in a country where the citizenry seems quite content with confiscatory taxes on anything that moves- there is beginning to be a backlash on taxes which they have correctly figured out are killing their economy! Consider this quote from the afore mentioned article....

"Peter Carroll, founder of FairFuelUK, which has also been calling for the duty increase to be scrapped said: “We are delighted that the Daily Express is crusading to have the increase axed. 

“This Government will be defined by how it deals with this crucial issue. Fuel prices affect every single citizen of this country, even if they are not drivers. It will impact on everything we buy in shops and everywhere we go. 
“If the duty rise goes ahead, the Government risks economic collapse, social disintegration and outbursts of direct action which none of us want to see. 
“At the very least we will see a return to the recession, if not a full-blown depression. People will have to give up their jobs, businesses will fold and it will be terrible for everyone.” 

Would that someone in this country could get the same message to our vacillator in chief Barack Hussein Obama! As oils prices continue to rise he and his minions in the Democratic party continue to insist on stifling any and all new oil exploration off our own coasts and Anwar!

As the price of gasoline continues to surge it has more and more of a negative effect on the economy of this country. People have less and less money to spend on goods and services that might provide Americans with jobs and are in ever growing numbers sending their hard earned dollars-not only to wasteful governments in the form of taxes-but also to Arab nations that would like nothing better than to see us all dead!

It's time for the Tea Party to make a demand for more American production of oil,coal,shale,and natural gas a center piece of it's agenda alongside a demand for less government interference in our lives and business as well as lower tax.

Perhaps it's time for us to start our own Crusade against taxes on gasoline and Obama's prohibition on production from the Gulf of Mexico.

U.N approves "No Fly Zone" now will the U.S and the World act

The answer appears to be a resounding yes! Now that the U.N. has approved not only military action-such as taking out tank positions as well as ground forces-but also an actual "No-Fly Zone" it appears as a new coalition of the willing may soon be taking action to stop forces loyal to Libyan dictator Kadaffy from completely defeating the Libyan rebellion and possibly slaughtering scores of people who had stood against his tyrannical rule!

Mark Mardell at BBC News is reporting ...

"the first strikes will be unilateral ones by British and French aircraft. They could be in the air within hours. It is likely five Arab air forces will take part. Hillary Clinton has said it will mean bombing Libyan air defences. Nato will step up if asked but could take a while."

It's about time. It had begun to appear as though our dawdler in chief was well prepared to fiddle as Libya burned so to speak,but,ti her credit Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a personal interest in this matter and -it appears-has almost forced the hand of the Obama administration on this issue.

Hillary is not my favorite politician by a long shot but-it is my opinion-she has more stones than "The One" has. In an earlier post I made the case for perhaps being able to win some hearts and minds in the Arab world by being decisive and taking action to aid the people of Libya in their quest for freedom from the much hated Kadaffy. It is heartening to see that apparently the United States and our allies in both Europe and the middle East are finally ready to get mobilized and take action!

So the answer to the question that headlines this post is ...
Yes the U.S. and the World are finally going to take action to see that the Libyan Rebels prevail in their struggle for freedom!

Having second thoughts about nuclear power

As the headline at Drudge screams "Surgeon General: get iodide" and headlines from around the world give more grim news of the nuclear disaster in Japan,and,even the U.S Navy prepares to move warships into safer waters, I have to admit I am having serious doubts about the use of nuclear power in this country going forward.

Since I have been old enough to have an informed opinion I have been a supporter of nuclear energy as a relatively safe,clean form of energy but the atomic disaster at Japan's Fukushima power station has changed all that!

Today-even as I am writing this-we have the unprecedented spectacle of 3 nuclear reactors out of control,containments damaged,and at least on reactor vessel breached. As if this is not bad enough there has been a strange emission of white smoke coming from one of the reactors. Is the core itself on fire? No one but the Japanese government and the people at the scene no for sure.

To top all that off radiation levels near the site of Fukushima power complex are dangerously high ,and,our government has said that a 50 mile radius around the plant should be evacuated. This is a truly frightening disaster unfolding before our very eyes.

Being a citizen of Central Missouri i live just miles from a large nuclear power plant. I can't imagine what it would be like if this was happening at that power plant. The idea that my entire family could be exposed to something like this is a nightmare I can't begin to wrap my mind around.

Therefore I have come to the conclusion that nuclear energy may well be just too darn dangerous to consider as a viable energy source going forward.In fairness I have to admit that our reactors-or the majority any way-are constructed much much better than the Fukushima complex. Where the Japanese outer containment appears to be sheet metal ours are made of concrete with walls that measure at least four feet thick .
In fact our outside containment buildings are built to withstand a direct hit from an airplane.

"the design and thickness of the containment and the missile shield are governed by federal regulations (10 CFR 50.55a), and must be strong enough to withstand the impact of a fully loaded passenger airliner without rupture.^[2]"

That being said what of the unforeseen? Our plants should be able to withstand the strongest earthquake that could come in their area,but, what if a quake occurs higher than what the building is designed for? What happens if a tsunami hits, or any other of a whole host of things that no one saw coming?

Nuclear power is a great thing when all goes well,but can quickly turn into a real bitch when all does not,and, in the final analysis that risk,the risk of radiation release and out of control fission are just too great,no matter how remote the possibilities.

As of this writing no one -and I mean no one- knows how this will end. This horrible horrible event could well render much of Japan uninhabitable. Given the extraordinary risks that even the most remote event presents I have therefor begun to have sever misgivings and very very strong second thoughts about nuclear energy. I fear that this is one genie that needs to be put back in the bottle,encased in concrete, and buried as far and as deep as one can do!

Freedom for Libya

We have all seen the images on t.v. people all over the middle east rising up against tyranny and demanding freedom! First in Tunisia,then in Egypt,Bahrain,Yemen,and then Libya. We have seen the images of thousands upon thousands of ordinary rank and file people getting courage and becoming bold enough to demand that the dictators that have ruled their lives leave and allow them to be free!

These are exciting times. We are witnessing a sea change in the thinking of people in the Muslim world. I believe that they are rejecting what Al-Qaeda-has been preaching-and have instead embraced the ideals of freedom and self determination that we cherish so highly!

I have watched the pundits on television wring their hands with worry that if the United States becomes involved in another Islamic country it would work against us. Hog wash! In Libya the people-ordinary people-old men-young men-and women-have stood up against a tyrant and are demanding freedom!

America has a golden opportunity here to win the hearts and minds of a Muslim world that has rejected the ideology of Al-Qaeda, and instead has embraced,the fundamental ideals of freedom and self determination,that are the bedrock of all republics.

Now is the time for America,Europe,and the entire free world, to stand with the freedom fighters in Libya,impose a no fly zone,and provide air support to the people of Libya in their fight for liberty and freedom.

Failure to act  on our part may  well open a door for Al-Qaeda-to exploit the situation-convince the people we care nothing of freedom for them-and allow Al-Qaeda to win the war of ideologies!

Australian P.M addresses Congress gives rousing pro-American speech

Yesterday March 9,2011 Australia's prime Minister Julia Gillard gave,what can only be called, a rousing pro-American speech to a joint session of Congress. What a breath of fresh air this speech is. For once here is a world leader saying good things about America. In fact Ms. Gillard spoke more highly of these United States than I can ever recall hearing our own President speak of this nation!

No apology tour here instead the Prime minister started her speech recalling how she watched the landing of our astronauts on the moon and how she thought "America can do anything" in fact she reiterates later in the speech her belief that "America still can do anything".

This woman was more of a cheerleader-in this speech- than our own President was in his most recent State of the Union address. However she doesn't stop there she continued on by saying that it was America who freed the world during WWII and that our values of "Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness' have been an inspiration and a model for people who yearn for,and,love freedom the world over.

Then she asserts that America has a true ally down under in Australia. In fact again and again she reinforces the fact that there is a truly special bond between the Australian and American people and that Australia will always stand by,and with, America.

For my part of all the other English speaking people of the world I feel the Aussies are probably most like us and I feel a true kinship with them. I don't know what this womans politics are whether she be conservative or liberal, but I like her statement that "real mates talk  straight" and that Australians say what they mean and mean what they say! Would that more of our own politicians would speak so plainly!

As I watched this video I began to get a lump in my throat ,and noticed that Boehner was getting choked up, I could definitely sympathize with him, it is just so refreshing to here someone from another country sing the praises of this great land we call America. In fact as I watched I was proud of our Australian friends America is indeed lucky to have such a stalwart Allie as we do in the Australian people Long live America,long live Australia, and may God bless both our peoples!

Why can't we drill here drill now revisited

Once again the price of gasoline has risen above $3.00 per gallon,and yet,the administration of President Barack Hussein Obama is dragging it's feet in resuming exploration for oil in the Gulf of Mexico -as well as other areas of this country-to the detriment of us all.

Meanwhile as turmoil continues in the Middle East our addiction to foreign oil is becoming a national security nightmare. What happens if  Saudi Arabia is the next domino to fall to the wave of unrest that is sweeping the Arab world?

This country could be brought to a standstill very quickly and the recent economic unpleasantness could be dwarfed by the  calamity that could befall us if the lifeblood of western civilization is cutoff!

No matter what your politics on the matter of oil is,the fact remains, that oil powers our world. Yet this country sets on vast reserves that have been put off by limits by enviro-nazis and their partners in crime the Democratic Party!!

Still this is only part of the bigger picture. This country also has unbelievable amounts of coal,shale,coal sands etc that could be tapped to power this country-but in the name of the global warming myth-these vast reserves have been and are being -put off limits.

At the same time conservatives rail against subsidies for ethanol and bio-fuels but at least every time a person buys a dollars worth of ethanol or bio diesel that dollar stays here to support American farmers rather than fund Islamic killers who thirst for our blood!!

It's time to WAKE UP AMERICA!!! We have enough of our own energy to fuel this nation!! We MUST start doing every thing we can RIGHT NOW to develop all our energy options,oil,coal,natural gas, bio fuels,solar wind,any source we can exploit in order to sever the umbilical cord of dependence that connects us to a place and a group of people who regularly call for our death!

As much as I wistfully hope that the calls for democracy and freedom in the middle east will actually produce good fruit,I fear that what is going to happen,is the rise of an Islamic extremist empire that will become a grave threat to this nation.

It is high time for a Declaration of Energy Independence. We can no longer afford to be held captive in our addiction to middle eastern oil!
