"That Will Never Happen in America"





Just another lazy Sunday Morning. My post for today is not anything that I wrote. It is something that was e-mailed to me by a friend and is very very relevant for these times. I have read that there were upwards to two million at the rally in Washington Sept. 12 2009.



This message that was sent to me sums up-I believe- the feelinngs of many of those protesters-as well as my own-our so called leaders in Washington need to pay heed to this message, as ,well as the message of the tea party protesters.





""What would you say if I gave you 11 reasons why the elections in2010 will be the most important in the history of the United States?

1. What if I had told you in October 2008, before the lastpresidential election, that before Barack Obama's first 100 days in office,the federal government would be in control of both the mortgage and thebanking industries? That 19 of America's largest banks would be forced toundergo stress tests by the federal government which would determine if theywere insufficiently capitalized, so they must be supervised by thegovernment?Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen in America..

"2. What if I had told you that within Barack Obama's first 100 daysin office the federal government would be the largest shareholder in the USBig-Three automakers: Ford, GM, and Chrysler? That the government would kickout the CEO's of these companies and appoint hand-picked executives withzero experience in the auto industry and that executive compensation wouldbe determined, not by a Board of Directors, but by the government?Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

3.. What if I had told you that Barack Obama would appoint 32 Czars,without congressional approval, accountable only to him, not to the voters,who would have control over a wide range of US policy decisions. That therewould be a Stimulus Accountability Czar, an Urban Czar, a Compensation Czar,an Iran Czar, an Auto Industry Czar, a Cyber Security Czar, an Energy Czar,a Bank Bailout Czar, and more than a dozen other government bureaucrats withunchecked regulatory powers over US domestic and foreign policy.Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen inAmerica."

4. What if I had told you that the federal deficit would be $915billion in the first six months of the Obama presidency - with a projectedannual deficit of $1.75 trillion - triple the $454.8 billion in 2008, forwhich the previous administration was highly criticized by Obama and hisfellow Democrats. That congress would pass Obama's $3.53 trillion federalbudget for fiscal 2010. That the projected deficit over the next ten yearswould be greater than $10 trillion.Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

5. What if I had told you that the Obama Justice Department wouldorder FBI agents to read Miranda rights to high-value detainees captured onthe battlefield and held at US military detention facilities in Afghanistan.That Obama would order the closing of the Guantanamo detention facilitywith no plan for the disposition of the 200-plus individuals held there.That several of the suspected terrorists at Guantanamo would be sent to livein freedom in Bermuda at the expense of the US government That ourreturning US veterans would be labeled terrorists and put on a watch list.Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen inAmerica."

6. What if I had told you that the federal government would seekpowers to seize key companies whose failures could jeopardize the financialsystem. That a new regulatory agency would be proposed by Obama to controlloans, credit cards, mortgage-backed securities, and other financialproducts offered to the public.Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen inAmerica."

7. What if I had told you that Obama would travel to the MiddleEast, bow before the Saudi king, and repeatedly apologize for America's pastactions. That he would travel to Latin America where he would warmly greetVenezuela's strongman Hugo Chavez and sit passively in the audience whileNicaraguan Marxist thug Daniel Ortega charged America with terroristaggression in Central America.Would you have said, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

8. Okay, now what if I were to tell you that Obama wants todismantle conservative talk radio through the imposition of a new "FairnessDoctrine." That he wants to curtail the First Amendment rights of those whomay disagree with his policies via Internet blogs, cable news networks, oradvocacy ads. That most major network television and most newspapers willonly sing his phrases like state-run media in communist countries?Would you say, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

9. What if I were to tell you that the Obama Justice Department isdoing everything it can to limit your Second Amendment rights to keep andbear arms. That the federal government wants to reinstate the so-calledassault weapons ban which would prohibit the sale of any type of firearmthat requires the shooter to pull the trigger every time a round is fired.That Obama's Attorney General wants to eliminate the sale of virtually allhandguns and ammunition, which most citizens choose for self-defense.Would you say, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

10. What if I were to tell you that the Obama plan is to eliminatestates rights guaranteed by the Tenth Amendment and give the federalgovernment sweeping new powers over policies currently under the province oflocal and state governments and voted on by the people. That Obama plans tocontrol the schools, energy production, the environment, health care, andthe wealth of every US citizen.Would you say, "C'mon, that will never happen in America."

11. What if I were to tell you that the president, the courts, and the federal government have ignored the US Constitution and have seized powers which the founders of our country fought to restrict.

That our last presidential election may have been our last truly free election for sometime to come. That our next presidential election may look similar to the one recently held in Iran. (And maybe under review by ACORN.)I know, I know what you will say.

That will never happen in America. If we don't do everything in our power to stop this madness in 2010, may God have mercy on our souls. Pass this on to every freedom loving American you can.

Semper Fi! A Marine goes toe to toe with U.S. Rep Brian Baird

I love this video. I first heard this on the Sean Hannity Show as I was driving home from work. My heart filled with pride as I listened to this young Marine take Rep. Baird a Democrat from Washington State to task for not upholding the Constitution. He is exactly right. The Liberals in Congress have been trampling the Constitution underfoot.

Where is it written in the Constitution that the Congress has authority to force any kind of health care, or , health care insurance upon private individuals. Where is the authority for a government take over of financial institutions,and car companies. Not to mention practically destroying what remnants of states rights that are left.

This Marine realizes, as do many Americans, that they, Washington, have overstepped their bounds. These are some of the most perilous times for freedom and democracy in the history of our country since the Revolutionary War period, or the Civil War era.

We the people must stand together to force these civil servants to once again serve the interests of the people, rather than trying to accumulate absolute power to themselves.

As the father of a Marine, and Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, I was damn proud of this man and pray God he will run for public office. America needs A Few Good Men.

An open letter to Nancy Pelosi

Today I wrote an e-mail to Nancy Pelosi taking her to task for referring to right wing protesters as "Violent,angry out of control, carrying swastikas etc, etc. I posted it at mailto:AmericanVoices@mail.house.gov.

I urge any one who reads this post, and is sick and tired of out of control politicians labeling any one who disagrees with them as Nazis,angry blah, blah, blah to do the same. What follows is my letter to Ms. Pelosi. ,

Dear Ms. Pelosi. I am one of the so called angry, violent extremist wild eyed anti health care protesters. I have never been unruly, violent or tried to attack anyone while protesting. No on in any group I have been with has . However we have been sometimes loud and vocal. That is our right as Americans.


When it was your side organizing anti-Bush protest ,that was “patriotic”. When your side likened Bush and Cheney to Nazis and war criminals they were held up as hero's. But when concerned citizens many from all parties get mad at what you and your fellow extremist left wing crack jobs are doing you describe us Like I just described you!.
You only want “civil debate” when it benefits you.

Independance Day



The Declaration of Independence is the most remarkable legal and political document of all time. It reveals the genius of our founding fathers as well as the deep and abiding love, as well as , jealousy they had for freedom.

These men didn't want, or seek to be, radicals. rather their hand was forced by a king and government that had become unresponsive to the will of the people. the idea of some form of declaration was first put before the Continental Congress on June by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia.


The resolution that Lee put forward stated "That theses United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent states". By June 10th congress appointed a committee to study this proposal, and on July 2, 1776 Congress began to debate a draft of the declaration. On July 4,1776 it was adopted in it's final form and read to the people on July 8 of that same year.


The preamble states the purpose and reasoning for adopting a declaration of Independence from Britain.



The men who founded this nation had finally had enough, and even as they convened, warfare had already broken out in the Colonies they wanted the world to know why they had been forced to separate from Britain and the throne.

The second major portion of this awesome document puts forth the rights these co-equal people were entitled to.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

Notice they said that all men are created equal period. They didn't say all men were entitled to social justice, or equality of wealth, or that everybody ought to have equal anything other that all were equal. Equal in standing and stature before God, and entitled by the laws of nature to be treated as equals under the law. No class or station or office made one person more equal than another.


"That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

This is by far in my opinion the most striking as well as important statements in the Declaration.

That the power of the government flows from the PEOPLE to the government not the other way around. It seems to me that the present crowd in Washington would do well to read this again. especially when the rest of this paragraph say's...

"That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government"

This speaks for itself the founders saw it as the duty of men to throw off a government that was trampling on their freedoms. It further states...


"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government"

I don't advocate any violent form of revolution, but if the founders were here today and took a look at what has happened lately, especially the cap and tax bill, they would probably advocate for revolution. Thankfully in the second great document of this country, the Constitution, they provided for a peaceful revolution through the ballot box.

These are great passages that hold great relevance for our times. but consider one more line from this beautiful creation.


"He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance"


take time to download and look through the text of Waxman -Markey. This abomination to -true American ideals and principles- is chock full of new agencies, programs, and government agents who will no doubt eat out the financial, economic and political freedoms of every person, company, and institution in this country! And take time to read the Declaration and share it with your children so they can know how to grow up and demand Freedom!
