Congress having second thoughts on Timothy Geithner

Tim Geithener,how in the world did this tax evading character ever get approved by Congress to begin with, now it seems folks from both side of the isle are having second thoughts about their poorly considered decision to approve a dishonest man to the Treasury!

The number of Obama appointees or proposed appointments that failed to pay their taxes is staggering. In an article from free republic intitled "Unprecedented levels of tax evasion in the Obama administration" one fenix Guy names at least 13 and from what I understand the number of people just at treasury alone who are having to catch up on their taxes keeps growing.

If I remember right even Obama himself had to catchup some back taxes when he entered the run for the White House! No wonder liberals are such lovers of taxes, they NEVER pay them!!!

I shutter to think what the IRS would do to little o'l me if I didn't pay 36,000 dollars in taxes!!!And to think Congress put this cheat in charge of the nations finances. God help us all.

If Congress would quit rushing to get things done,and give a little more thoughtful consideration to the subject at hand they wouldn't have to regret decisions like this one!

Congress, slow down on Health care reform, cap and trade, and all the other nonsense your rushing like a snowball headed for hell to get done or your going to have worse things to regret than confirming this Bozo.

Rachael Maddow more afraid of Christians than terrorists

I caught this last night just before going to bed and I couldn't believe my ears. Rachael Maddow of msnbc was talking about conservative criticism of Obama while he's out of the country. She focused in on criticism from the religious right-whatever that is- and made a big fuss out of bumper stickers and other products that have become fashionable in conservative Christian circles. These products bear a reference to Psalm 109:8 which says...

"Let his days be few and let another take his place"

At this point Maddow becomes quite agitated and fearful that this represents a threat on the life of the President. What Rachael fails to understand is that this isn't a threat on the President it is just a prayer that Obama's term in office will be short and that a better candidate will take his place. That's all!

But no! This is not good enough for her she proceeds to distort the truth and read Psalm 109 verse 8 but also Psalm 109 verse 9 which says "let his children be fatherless and his wife a widow".

Give me a break! This is not what evangelicals are aiming at. Sure enough if both of these are put together it does sound ominous, but, that's not what's going on. These folks wish no harm to the President OR his family, they just wish he wasn't president.

Then appears Frank Shaeffer a liberal "Mainstream" Baptist. Folks mainstream baptists are any thing but mainstream. They are far left Christians who don't even believe most of scripture. Yet Maddow characterizes him as coming from far right Christianity. At this point she is playing on the ignorance of her audience.

This bozo goes on to characterize conservative Christians-and indeed anyone who has ever read the Left Behind Series by Tim LeHaye- as delusional!! Folks this is nothing more than gross fear mongering. I have to ask where were they when the left was wishing for the assassination of George Bush and the death of V.P. Cheney?

When the talk was all about the terrorist that shot up Fort Hood Rachael was bending herself into a pretzel to excuse the actions of that Islamic terrorist! Rachael,quit being afraid of Christian activists,and start being concerned about Radical Islam!!

This seems to be the point that our Republic is in today . History shows that republics rarely last more than 200 hundred years and usually go through the following progression...

But in our later day's we have fallen into selfishness, apathy and an unhealthy dependence on big government to take care of more and more of our needs. Now if we are not careful we may well descend into the abyss of bondage.

Bondage to a patriarchal/matriarchal state that promises to provide us with everything. Sad fact is large majorities have seen how easy it is to vote themselves largess from the public trough and are all to willing to accept it. This is not what the vision and dream of America is supposed to be!

Thankfully in recent days the apathy I speak of has begun to disappear, people are getting concerned that perhaps we are straying to far from the founding principles of individual freedom as well as responsibility.

This is a good thing. I can remember being told in school that the importance of history is that we can learn from the mistakes of those went before us. Now is the time to review the lessons of history. to heed the words of the founders who said...

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."

As well as the word of more recent champions of freedom like Winston Churchill who said...

If we will listen to those who went before then perhaps we can reverse this trend towards the end of our republic!

In a May 5,2009 post on American Thinker Jeannie DeAngelis wrote the following...

If you are not familiar with these two read on, if you do know of them well this won't be news to you. I had never heard of these two until I heard them mentioned on Glenn Beck's radio show today. I immediately went on a search on the Internet and was blown away by what I learned.

Barack is on record as saying the Constitution imposes limits on government that to him are inconvenient, or unfortunate. Obama and company are bent-in my opinion- on using a barrage of crisis' to change the very principals and purpose for which this country was founded. That being to constrain government and protect the "Inalienable Rights" of "We The People". It is my firm opinion that they would replace the Constitution if possible or at least make it totally irrelevant. It's already becoming irrelevant in Washington but not yet totally so!

President Obama,Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton etc. etc. have bought into the communist lie and are trying to cram the dream of a socialist utopia down our throats. History shows that Communism and socialism never lead to paradise only to dictatorship and perpetual hard times!

This country is being bombarded by perceived problems and crisis' to the point of it being economic war. It's bad enough that we are being attacked from without and within by Islamo-facists, but to have that coupled with radical warfare from the left is unconscienable.

Learn more about Cloward and Piven, Saul Alinsky, and their twisted communist ideology, and I think you will agree with me that the best fundamental change we could get is to throw ALL these bums out.

The Inconvenient Constitution

I can't believe these guys. Here they are,they have sworn to uphold, and defend the Constitution, and lo and behold they don't even know what it says!

Nelson is not the only one, several congressmen have been asked, as well as White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, what authority there is in the Constitution for mandating that individuals purchase health insurance, and to a person they all start answering by saying they're not Constitutional scholars, then proceed to show ignorance of what this august document does say. It would seem that the Constitution is an inconvenient document to these folks.

Well in the interest of clarity here's what a 1994 C.B.O. memo had to say on the subject...

"A mandate requiring all individuals to purchase health insurance would be an unprecedented form of federal action. The government has never required people to buy any good or service as a condition of lawful residence in the United States. An individual mandate would have two features that, in combination, would make it unique. First, it would impose a duty on individuals as members of society. Second, it would require people to purchase a specific service that would be heavily regulated by the federal government."

Did you get the part about the government not requiring people to buy goods or services as a requirement of lawful residence. There is a reason why,the Constitution doesn't allow it! It's called the freedom to choose!!!

That's right the government cannot force me to buy health insurance. Now I can almost hear someone saying "but the states require people to by car insurance". True enough they certainly do. This is predicated on the idea-that has been upheld by the Supreme Court- that driving is a privilege extended to you by the state therefore they can impose that requirement on you.

Citizenship however is a God given right guaranteed to anyone born in the U.S or naturalized as a citizen. They are basically trying to say that citizenship is a privilege and therefore to enjoy that privilege we must buy health insurance.

I think they will find that the inconvenient Constitution of these United States will stop them in their evil little tracks!

This video is an absolute outrage! As I listened to this idiot spout his trash I became angrier and angrier! Then it occurred to me that if this fellow had been a Christian -preaching the love of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ- he probably would have been shut down by the police!

I know that we have freedom of speech in this country -and as the name of this blog implies- I am a great supporter of freedom but there is a limit to that freedom. What we see here is tantamount,no it is, allowing an agent of our enemy to spout his propaganda on OUR streets in the MIDDLE of a WAR!!!

Good God could you imagine a member of the Gestapo being allowed to rail against Jews ,Americans, and anyone else he hated on an American street during WWII!

If this had been a Christian speaking against sin he would have been charged with "hate speech". Yet this muslim extremist is on our streets advocating violence against "infidels and hypocrites"!

Well folks who do you think he's talking about? He's talking about anyone and everyone who calls themselves an American. We have a real problem and PC is blinding us to what it is. 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and America appears to be falling head long into Communism!

I find this video to be positively amazing. The scenes it shows are of the first seconds, minutes, and hours after this hated symbol of socialist oppression came tumbling down. It also shows people fleeing over the wall eager to escape the man made hell that was the eastern block behind the Iron Curtain!

As you watch this video you can see the overwhelming exuberance and joy of people getting their first taste of freedom in years, and many for the first time in their entire lives.

Over the years more than 300 people were murdered or injured by the East German Socialist Government as they sought to extricate themselves from the "socialist paradise" that they suffered horrendously in!

Flash forward 20 years to this very day. Just 2 day's ago the American Socialists in the United States House of Representatives voted to plunge this country head long into the same kind of failed system, that the East Germans craved freedom from, Communiusm!

East Germany- and indeed the entire eastern block- was a place where everyone had job security. If you didn't have a job you were thrown in jail. That was the socialist solution to unemployment. These people had cradle to grave health care,government assistance, and most telling of all cradle to grave slavery.

Now the Democratic Socialists in America are trying to pass into law a bill that says you shall, you shall, you shall, so many times that it is sickening. Under their diabolical plan if you don't want any part of their nonsense you can be fined tens of thousands of dollars, charged with a felony, and be put in prison for as long as 5 years. This -in my book- is NOT Freedom!!

Just think if they can do that they may well be able to eventually pass laws making it a crime to speak out against this plan, and any other wonderful socialist experiment, they propose! And make no mistake they have plenty of them not the least of which is the next big goal on their horizon "Cap and Trade".

Well this-is in my opinion- a sad day for America! Last night I watched the spectacle of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi reading the results of the house vote and -smiling like the Cheshire cat- announcing this turkey had passed.

We have often heard that Republicans have "no plan" when it comes to health care reform legislation but House minority whip Eric Cantor exposes this claim for the lie it is. Republicans in the House and Senate have several excellent proposals that would reform health care without the government DICTATING to the American people how and in what form they will receive health care.

As it stands now the House version lays down the Law literally and tells Americans what they "SHALL" do! It even criminalizes opposition to their plan by making it a felony to not buy into this garbage.

As Mr. Cantor points out the Democratic proposal runs to almost 2000 pages. In addition this monster creates more new federal bureaucracies than can be counted.

It's interesting that Queen Nancy wore a Lenin Red Dress last night as she proclaimed victory. I swear I thought I saw a gold hammer and sickle on her right shoulder, but after rubbing my eyes found I was seeing things.

If theses damn Democrats get their way the freedom, economic opportunity, and choice we have so far enjoyed will become a thing of the past. History teaches us that democracies rarely last more than 200 years. Seems our's is about to expire.

Yes Republicans do have a plan for health care reform too bad it will likely never see the light of day!!

Speaking truth to power!

For a long time now the left has had the erroneous idea that they had an exclusive monopoly on protest! In fact for a long time-because the majority remained silent- they did have a de-facto monopoly, but, not any more. Americans of all stripes who think that government has crossed a line have become energized and are no longer silent.

For years now the left has loved to say "speak truth to power"! Well today Americans by the hundreds if not thousands were speaking truth to the powers that be in Washington, and that truth is, that they, the politicians, work for us, not the other way around!

In the midst of all this I heard a sound byte by Queen Nancy in which she said she had spent her whole life on this-health care reform- and that it was important to the people. No it is important to HER because she has invested her life in turning this country into some kind of communist paradise!

Well here is some truth being spoken to power by me -And I believe what the protesters were also saying-go to hell with your communist paradise!

Speak truth to power America is not a communist country it is a Democratic Republic belonging to the people and regulated by The Constitution! It's time Nancy Pelosi and company read it!!!

Sarah Palin:Anti- Establishment!

I heard this statement made by Pat Buchanan on MSNBC's Hardball. Matthews as usual had asked some inane question about Palin in connection with the race in New York's 23rd district where another-Palinesque-maverick, Doug Hoffmann, seemed poised to beat out an "establishment" Democratic Party candidate. Indeed Hoffman had already ran the Republican Party establishment candidate out of the race!!.

It made me think back to the radical years of the late sixties early seventies when the left owned the "anti-establishment moniker. How damn ironic I thought that a conservative such as Sarah Palin should be called "anti-establishment".

But why not? After all the times have similarities, today as in 1968-1975 or so, America was beset by an entrenched, often arrogant, and out of touch, administration, as well as political establishment.

In those days the hippies, and the "New Revolutionaries," were the ones challenging the established order-indeed the watchword of the day was question authority-now these self same hippies control Washington and are calling for blind faith in their nonsense!

Today it is not the hippie socialists but rather the -"anti-establishment"- conservatives like Palin and Hoffman as well as the town hallers and teabag protesters that are the new revolutionaries.

In the words of an old sixties song "The Times They Are a Changin". After the last election liberal politicians and pundits said that conservatism was dead. Oh contraire! The New CONSERVATIVE -not to be confused with neocon- Revolution is only beginning .

Time to take back America Conservatives!!!

Conservative Party U.S.A Part II

Over the weekend all the buzz on the weekend talk shows centered on the two gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia, and the hotly contested senate race in New York. I found it very interesting that in the latter-the three way race between Democrat Bill Owens,Republican DeDe Scozzafava, and Conservative party candidate Doug Hoffman- all the commentators seemed to lump Hoffman in as a Republican just because he is conservative.

There was barely a mention of the fact that Hoffman wasn't just a conservative Republican causing trouble for the official Republican nominee,but that he is in fact, the nominee of a totally separate "Conservative" party. To top it all off Scozzafava -who had the endorsement of no less a Republican party luminary than Newt Gingrich (why I don't know)-was forced to pull out,and even endorsed the Democratic candidate.

I find myself wondering if this could be the beginning of a movement that could be a rude awakening for the "Grand Old Party". I also think this may be a good time for the GOP to reexamine the history of it's own beginning!

The Republican Party- or the Grand Old Party-had its beginnings in 1854 when disaffected opponents of slavery from the Whig,Freesoil, and Democratic parties met in Jackson Michigan to form a new party which they called "The Republican Party".

Until that time the Whig party had been promising to oppose slavery but didn't keep that promise. Today "Conservatives" have been courted for years by a party that increasingly acts anything but conservative.

Many seem to think the two are one in the same,but, THEY ARE NOT!! Republicans can be conservative but many conservatives-myself included-just happen to vote Republican more often than not. However this same group of people would be just as happy voting for a conservative Democrat against a liberal Republican-or as I believe was the case in the last two National elections-not vote at all.

Yes the "Grand Old Party" would do well to take stock. This new conservative movement, and this new "Conservative Party", might well leave them on the dust heap of history alongside the old "Whig Party"!

Michael Moore's Plan to Communize America!

Is this not the scariest thing you've ever seen? Well maybe I'm exaggerating ,but, Mr. Moore has released a recent letter that truly is frightening especially considering the vast number of left wing loonies that hang on his every word!

What am I talking about? Nothing less than Michael's missive of the October 22, intitled -"15 Things Every American Can Do Right Now!"- where he calls for nothing less than the Communization of America.

I considered posting all of it but decided to post only the first five things o'l Micky thinks should be done to America. Pelosi Reid and Emperor Obama should really love all 15 of his communist crap!! Here are his first five points...

1. Declare a moratorium on all home evictions. Not one more family should be thrown out of their home. The banks must adjust their monthly mortgage payments to be in line with what people's homes are now truly worth -- and what they can afford. Also, it must be stated by law: If you lose your job, you cannot be tossed out of your home.
Given the fact that the mortgage companies have been given billions this point has some merit. However the problem started because of socialist policies that allowed people who could not "AFFORD" to buy homes they couldn't afford!

2. Congress must join the civilized world and expand Medicare For All Americans. A single, nonprofit source must run a universal health care system that covers everyone. Medical bills are now the #1 cause of bankruptcies and evictions in this country. Medicare For All will end this misery. The bill to make this happen is H.R. 3200 -- but this bill is worthless without the amendment from Rep. Anthony Weiner that will bring us closer to the real bill that should be passed: H.R. 676. You must call AND write your members of Congress and demand that they support this amendment, no compromises allowed.
This one is very telling. Moore let's the cat out of the Health Care bag note the use of the word "Nonprofit". Yes lefties like Moore who has made massive profits from his films hate to see others make a profit. HEY MIKE THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT. Companies exist to make MONEY!!!!!

3. Demand publicly-funded elections and a prohibition on elected officials leaving office and becoming lobbyists. Yes, those very members of Congress who solicit and receive millions of dollars from wealthy interests must vote to remove ALL money from our electoral and legislative process. Tell your members of Congress they must support campaign finance bill H.R.1826.
I say let em get as many donations as possible.

4. Each of the 50 states must create a state-owned public bank like they have in North Dakota. Then congress MUST reinstate all the strict pre-Reagan regulations on all commercial banks, investment firms, insurance companies -- and all the other industries that have been savaged by deregulation: Airlines, the food industry, pharmaceutical companies -- you name it. If a company's primary motive to exist is to make a profit, then it needs a set of stringent rules to live by -- and the first rule is "Do no harm." The second rule: The question must always be asked -- "Is this for the common good?" (Click here for some info about the state-owned Bank of North Dakota.)
Notice here the nonsense about companies only existing to make a profit. Duh companies aren't charities nobody works for free!!

5. Save this fragile planet and declare that all the energy resources above and beneath the ground are owned collectively by all of us. Just like they do it in Sarah Palin's socialist Alaska. We only have a few decades of oil left. The public must be the owners and landlords of the natural resources and energy that exists within our borders or we will descend further into corporate anarchy. And when it comes to burning fossil fuels to transport ourselves, we must cease using the internal combustion engine and instruct our auto/transportation companies to rehire our skilled workforce and build mass transit (clean buses, light rail, subways, bullet trains, etc.) and new cars that don't contribute to climate change. (For more on this, here's a proposal I wrote in December.) Demand that General Motors' de facto chairman, Barack Obama, issue a JFK man-on-the-moon-style challenge to turn our country into a nation of trains and buses and subways. For Pete's sake, people, we were the ones who invented (or perfected) these damn things in the first place!!

HEY MIKE OUR PLANET DOESN'T NEED TO BE SAVED MANKIND DOES, and, we couldn't save this planet even if it needed saving.

Why stop using a proven engine like the internal combustion engine? Why not switch to clean burning ethanol or hydrogen?

Finally trains, subway's, etc were invented and came into being for the sole purpose of MAKING MONEY (see point number two) you big dumb ass!!!!

Afgahnistan-Pakistan Burn While Emperor OBama Fiddles

Today's headlines scream "11 Dead in Kabul" "Car bomb kills 100 in Pakistan"!!

Afghanistan is rapidly becoming a huge mess and that may well be the understatement of the day. While our president "dithers" our soldiers, U.N. workers. and innocent civilians in Pakistan and Afghanistan die!

This is totally unacceptable! The president should definitely make a considered, and measured, decision, but at this point it is beginning to look as though Obama is paralyzed by indecision, whether that assessment is true or not!

Even the liberal talking heads on television are beginning to question what looks to be presidential indecision. I remember when Bush was president it was demanded -by the left- that he listen to his generals on the ground.

How amazing that now that one of their own is in power none of the liberal activists that hammered Bush can be found.

The worst part of this is that American soldiers are dying in ever increasing numbers for -what I would say-is a lack of reinforcement! Our enemies are gaining the upper hand! If you don't believe that they are today's news from Kabul is proof to the contrary..

In the history of this war- since we originally secured Kabul - this sort of thing has not happened in the area that it did,which is one of the most secure areas in Kabul, and indeed all Afghanistan.

We as a nation have to decide are we in this to win or not! If we are in it to win we MUST give the generals all the numbers of soldiers, and equipment, as they ask for.

Our soldiers, the Afghan people and the people of Afghanistan cannot wait while Emperor Obama Fiddles literally as Rome-so to speak- is burning!!

Conservative Party U.S.A.:Could this be an alternative to the G.O.P.

Could the Conservative party of America be a viable alternative to the Grand Old Party? I'm beginning to think it could. Recently this party nominated Doug Hoffman to be their candidate in the N.Y senatorial campaign. His Republican In Name Only opponent -DeDe Scozzafava- is slightly to the left of John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid.

Ms. Scozzafava has been endorsed by the likes of Acorn, and supports abortion for God's sake!! this is why I feel as if -to paraphrase Ronald Reagan- the Republican Party is leaving me! How can a party that claims to be conservative support someone who is basically a Liberal Democrat.

Chuck Schumer appeared on "Meet The Press" this morning and talked with David Gregory about the Feds move to slash executive compensation and bonuses at companies that took "Bail out " money.Then O'l chuck talks about the "average American taxpayer".

Chuck says the taxpayer says I work hard, pay my taxes, and did nothing wrong why should I have to pay for this? Then he goes on to say that taxpayers want theses guys to tighten their belts.

Schumer is right. As an American taxpayer I didn't like the bailout. Yes those companies that took government money ought to tighten their belts and pay back the taxpayer! However I don't like the idea of the government dictating salaries or pay of any kind.

If the fed or -or any other branch of the government- can dictate pay to these guys they can dictate -sooner or later- to all of us!!

So I said to myself "Hey Chuck" are you ready to tighten YOUR belt and take a slash in pay??Congressmen like you are costing me, and all the other over burdened taxpayers, too much money.

In fact - a few years ago - the Heritage Foundation put out a report that claimed our Congress men cost us 6 million a year! That's right six million! Hell theses guys ARE the "evil rich" !
Members of congress are handsomely paid,have better health insurance than anyone in the world, and run around in giant limos,ride in chartered jets,and basically live like lords!!

Meanwhile the American taxpayer is more, and , more becoming a surf. Yes a surf! These guys have a guaranteed income, don't really have to show up for work -Barack Obama spent more time on the campaign trail than in the Illinois senate-they can always just have themselves put down as not present.

They are totally insulated from the effects of their own policies. Meanwhile we live with the consequences of their bad decisions and because of more and more laws,and regulations, become more and more dependant on them.

But that's not enough! No theses power hungry liberal criminals want to control EVERYTHING!
What's happening now is just a "foot in the door" if you will. Once they have set the precedent they will eventually seek to control all companies and regulate everyone's pay! They are literally trying to turn us into subjects!

In fact-if you take this to it's ultimate conclusion - you may well find that they will be telling everyone what kind of job they will do, where they live, as well as what kind of transportation you will be required to use.

Sound familiar? Sounds a lot like communism to me! And not just any kind of Communism, but Soviet style communism.

No until o'l Chuck Schumer is ready to slash his pay, live in the REAL WORLD with the rest of us, and sacrifice with the rest of us, he needs to quit throwing stones!!

I started out tonight to post about the Federal Reserve's plans to tell banks how they can compensate their employees. During my research I ran across an article telling how Dmitri Medvedev unveiled a new world currency at the G-8 summit.

I was blown away! A world currency? I have heard conspiracy theories for years about one world government and currency etc. etc. So I did a search for "Eurodollars" what I discovered has shaken me to the bone!

This nation is being sold down the river and no one seems to be paying any attention to what is REALLY going on!! The picture at the top of this page is a sample of this proposed "United Future World Currency"! It can be found at http://www.futureworldcurrency.com/Documents.asp?DocumentID=191.

Have I got your attention yet? Well sit down because what I'm going to tell you next is going to rock your world. The stated goal of the United Future World Currency project is as follows...

"the initial aim is to unite the United States of America with the United States of Europe, it will also be open to other Countries".

In my post from Sept. 20th I posted the video of Lord Monketon -formerly of the U.K. warning how the European Union -whose capitol is in Brussels- was dictating to England such minutiae as when the trash would be picked up. Well this garbage about a world currency was initiated in Brussels and Rome-which points to Biblical Prophecy but that's another post-and appears to be part of the process of imposing European Socialism upon us and the rest of the world!

In the late presidential campaign- and even afterward- we have been warned that Barack O. represents an attempt at European style socialism in this country. Mr. Obama even became-as far as I know- the first U.S. presidential candidate to campaign in Europe!

Could Barack be this organizations "Manchurian Candidate" in America? I have heard recently that Medvedev of Russia and Putin may be at odds. Could Medvedev be "their man" in Russia?

I don't know but I'm beginning to wonder if the current economic crisis wasn't somehow manufacture in order to advance the agenda of the Future World Currency Project!

At the web site for this future world currency one can find a tab for their "Manifesto".
Manifesto? Hum seems I've heard that term before. Oh yeah I remember manifesto as in 'Communist Manifesto".

Although being a distinct and different document it is none the less very scary in it's own right. Aside from the stated goal of uniting the United States and Europe it also seeks to indoctrinate their vision into the youth of the world.

Dictators like the Nazis and the Communists always target the "youth" in order to achieve their objectives. I'm going to stop here for now. I will be writing more about this in future posts. I will have to take time to research this and do some more posts.

It's Time To Tell Barack Obama To Listen to The Generals

Remember when George Bush was President and all one could hear from the Liberal Democrats was that George Bush should "listen to the generals on the ground"? Now however their silence is deafening in the face of President Obama's glaring indecision on what to do in Afghanistan.

Yes in the Bush era it was imperative that Bush listen to what his professional military commanders were asking for until General Petraus asked for a troop surge. Then OMG! Petraeus became Betrayus.

Obama has been asked by the ranking general on the ground in Afghanistan-General McChrystal-to send in several thousand more troops to fight a resurgent Taliban.

But what does the anointed one do? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! While Barack outdoes Jimmy Carter in the art of vacillation more of our American soldiers die for lack of reinforcements. Where is the liberal concern for the lives of our fighting men and women now? What happened to the Cindy Sheehans and the like?

Where is Harry-The War Is Lost -Reid. Calling for an immediate withdrawal of troops?

Today our soldiers are in need of our support. General McChrystal should be given the resources he needs to fight this war ,and, he should receive them immediately.

The great One went to great pains when he was running for President to draw parallels between himself and Abe Lincoln. Lincoln picked his Generals and delegated to them the authority to prosecute the war. If the general didn't get the job done he was replaced.

Lincoln did not try to tell his commanders how to fight all he requested was that they actually fight, and, fight to win!

It's well past time to tell Barack Obama to listen to his Generals. We need to fight to win in Afghanistan or get the hell out!
